The GrabPay “Freedom From Fees Challenge”!

12

Ready Gadget Go! recently received a challenge from Grab for GrabPay’sFreedom From Fees Challenge“, and we’re taking it head on!

Being a long-time user of Grab and GrabPay, we somehow have an idea of what they want to show through the challenge, and we’re more than glad to prove it with them.

GrabPay Freedom From Fees

As the official e-wallet under Grab, GrabPay aims to provide Filipinos with just the same convenience and reliability that it is able to extend to its other services; and its zero convenience fees offer now allows all GrabPay wallet users to seamlessly transfer funds to any e-wallet and bank entirely for FREE to help them maximize their savings.

The GrabPayFreedom From Fees Challenge

The Freedom From Fees Challenge basically wants to show how to save more with GrabPay compared to other e-wallet services with the mechanics below:

  1. Start the Challenge with a Php 200 GrabPay Credits(GPC)
  2. Do a round of transferring the amount towards several bank accounts and e-wallets, before transferring it back to your GrabPay Wallet (ie:  GrabPay -> BPI -> GrabPay -> BDO -> GrabPay -> GCash -> GrabPay -> PayMaya -> GrabPay)
  3. Attempt to do the same challenge with another e-wallet service, and compare how GrabPay fared and how it lets consumers save more with zero convenience fees

And that’s how we are going to do this! See the images below showing my transactions as I:

  1. My starting GrabPay credits at Php 2,998.34. We started the Challenge by transferring a Php 200 GrabPay Credits (GPC) to my BPI Bank account (GrabPay -> BPI) WAIVED FEES!
